Independent Help Is Linked From Every Page
Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, GAM STOP and NCPG. These are the only non-commercial outbound links on the whole site. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout the site, including on the front page.
Simple Habits Keep Gambling in Proportion
- Decide the amount before starting. A figure chosen while calm holds up better than one chosen in the middle of a session, when wins and losses distort judgement.
- Treat that amount as already spent. If the money is mentally gone, losing it does not feel like a debt you need to recover, and any win is a bonus.
- Never chase a loss. Each bet is independent. Raising stakes to win money back usually makes the loss bigger, faster.
- Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit and loans turn entertainment spending into repayments with interest. That pressure makes chasing more likely.
- Take breaks. Stepping away interrupts the momentum of play and gives you a moment to check time and money against your plan.
- Involve someone else early. When gambling stops feeling like entertainment, telling a person you trust adds an outside view before the problem grows.
Account Controls Live at the Destination, Not Here
This site has no account, no form and no server-side application. Nothing published here can switch on, check or enforce a spending control. Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are things a reader arranges inside their own account at the destination they play on. Anyone who wants to stop or cut back should set those controls there, or contact one of the organisations linked above.
Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any check of that kind happens at the destination. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour. This site counts only page views and outbound clicks, and it shares no visitor data with advertising networks.
